This will be a costumed model. Take advantage of this! Getting a costumed model is a big deal. And it's fun. If I see sketches in your sketchbook from this I will give you extra credit. If you don't make it, only bad things will rain down upon you. 7-10pm
Hello Mike, I just want to share a good place that I visited today, that might be helpful for the current project of our class. It's Sherman Library and Gardens, located in New Port Beach. The place is pretty tiny (only a 2.2 acre, w/ admission fee: $3.00 / Open daily: 10:30-4:00) but carries plentiful exotic plants and flowers, well mingled together both out and inside the greenhouses. They don't have many large trees but still have middle sized various exotic trees (especially tropical). Only wished the place were a bit larger but those plants wouldn't be seen easily from the streets so couldn't complain much. Just thought this place could be helpful for everyone who wants to sketch many shapes of foliage, in tranquility.
